THE BLOODSTONE COVEN began with leader Saphira Blue and her mate Whyll Lacey. Realizing what they had become, they wanted to shy away from it, but knew they couldn't. As a resort, Whyll and Saphira began drinking blood of animals. They found their rescue. Within the next couple of decades, Saphira discovered her future best friend, December, who was imprisoned to work in Maria's army, which Jasper headed. Saphira helped December escape without realizing that December had a loved one behind. She took his last name, Helmer, for herself when she left. One hundred years later, Drew tracked down his love after he too escaped single-handedly from Maria's clutches. He joined the Bloodstone Coven with December. THE DENALI COVEN began with Vasili, whose vampire daughters were Tanya, Irina, and Katrina. Vasili loved her daughters very much, including her youngest, which she created in secret. An immortal child. The Volturi discovered Vasili's child and had both of them destroyed and spared the sisters because of their innocence. Eleazar later joined the sisters with his mate, Carmen, after serving the Volturi for some time. He gave up on all the killing. Several years later, when the Denalis came to help the Cullens from the Volturi about Renesmee, Kate met Garrett and they became mates. He went back to Denali with them. The Denali Coven is completely made of Topaz Vampires, apart from Garrett, who is Amber, which means that he is converting.

THE OLYMPIC COVEN started over three hundred years ago, with its senior member Carlisle Cullen. Carlisle was hunting eventually what he would become, and one night everything went horribly wrong. Carlisle was bitten, and he made the change within three days. Repulsed by himself, he realized he could never kill himself and the only way to survive without losing himself would be to feed off of animal's blood. Carlisle went to France, Italy and most of Europe to study medicine by night. When he traveled to America, he stumbled upon a dying Edward Masen. Thinking quickly, he changed the boy so he could be his companion. Next was Carlisle's wife Esme after she fell off a cliff. Then Rosalie Hale, after being left to die in the streets; Emmett after being mauled by a bear (Rosalie carried him hundreds of miles so Carlisle could change him); and Alice and Jasper popped out of nowhere, and joined the coven; then lastly, Bella and Renesmee, her biological daughter with Edward.

THE VOLTURI started over three thousand years ago--when they stole the vampire royalty throne from the Romanians; with its three brothers centered, Aro, Marcus, and Caius. Over the years, the brothers have dedicated themselves to preserving vampire "law", even though in their mind, this means they are allowed to slay innocent beings. Over periods of time, many vampires have come to stay with them, and the ones who believe it is an honor to serve them, join the Volturi Guard. Not to mention that all the members on the guard are highly talented.

THE BLACK WOLVES are descended from the ancient werewolf Ephriam Black, and these wolves are a branch of the Quileutes. A faithful member of these wolves once broke away to pursue his own beliefs, and forgetting that it was his right to be alpha, he accidently created a new pack. The alpha was Jacob Black, and thus the Black wolves were promptly named.

THE QUILEUTES are the original pack from the La Push tribal area. The pack used to be very large, but now it has broken off into two different branches, the Black Wolves and The Quileutes. The Quileutes are still commanded by Sam Uley and continue to be the tribe's main pack.

THE RUSSO WOLVES, a pack of fierce, wild shape-shifters from New York. They are a brutal pack led by Tony Russo, the ultimate Alpha Male. His human sister (NICHOL RUSSO), who is "in the dark," or doesn't know about the supernatural that lurk outside her door, would ultimately become the Beta if she joined the pack. This wolf pack has murdered innocent creatures in the Forks/La Push area, and are encroaching on the Quileute land.
